Hello and Thank you for checking out my blog! My name is Mary Henry-Zeek and I am the owner and lead photographer of MH Photography in Houston, TX. What you will find here on this blog is a selection of images from some of my favorite sessions. I put in a misc. post here and there. So, stay a while and enjoy! Meet Andrew, just 9 days old!
Tara and John – Tuscany Villa – Katy, TX Wedding Photographer
Tara and John were married a few weeks ago at the Tuscany Villa in Katy, TX . Tara and John live in Phoenix, Arizona. On occasion I fly solo (no other photographer, just me and me only). This is one of those weddings. Tara found me online through Wedding Wire and we hit it off right away. I have clients that either referral from previous clients or find me online that live out of town and it is always exciting to finally meet them in person!! Tara and John were sooooo much fun! This year I have been blessed with couples that are soo much fun and are up for just about anything. This was another one of those fabulous weddings that are up there at the top of my all time faves to have photographed. I tell you, I truly love love what I do!
This is another one of those weddings I had well over 100 favorite images so it was sooo difficult selecting my faves of my faves to share with you. So see all my faves, check out my slideshow.

Jennifer and Nik – Houston, TX Wedding Photographer
Jennifer and Nik married early in June at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Pearland, TX. Their reception was held at The Admiral on Clear Lake. At nearly every wedding I get teary eyed, at least once. This wedding, I got teary eyed, 3 times!! Then I was going through the images and got teary eyed again all over again. This couple is sooo sweet and their love for each other is soooo innate, it was such an honor to be their wedding photographer. As June 2011 symbolizes 10 years of being a wedding photographer, not to mention 120+ weddings to date, this wedding has to be one of my all time favorite weddings.
I have over 100 Favorite images I would have loved to share with you, however I narrowed it down to my all around favorites 30 or so images of my favorites. To see all my favorites, you can check out the slideshow.

Jennifer K Bridal Portrait – Friendswood ,TX Wedding Photographer
Jennifer got married the first weekend in June. I just LOVED her bridal portraits. I photographed her at The White House Ranch in Friendswood. We started indoors then moved outside for some ultra fabulous vintage looking photos out on the ranch property. I walked away from the shoot knowing that I had just shot my one of favorite all time bridal portraits. I just love the Vintage feel of them!!
With the bright blazing sun and the fairness of Jennifer’s skin, the muted bright colors were a great harmony without blowing out the highlights and completely over exposing her dress. I was so excited to get back to the office to look at them. Now look at me, I am really bad about blogging and then when I actually do take the time to sit down and blog about one of my shoots, I can’t make up my mind on the images. So many I loved, I just have to share all of the following with you!!

Monica and Reeve – Houston, TX Wedding Photographer

It’s been the busiest month of the year!!! I have several weddings and several photo shoots I would like to share from the past couple of months, so you will have to stay tuned for those when I get around to it. Welcome June, with only two weddings this month and one in July and then a break…well from weddings at least, whew!!
Now that Monica and Reeve are married, I can share a couple of my personal favorites from her bridal portrait session at The Bell Tower on 34th St. A sneak peek of a their wedding pics coming soon!

Sadie – 6 months – Cypress, TX Baby Photographer
I was going through these photos today and just thought this one was just adorable, just had to share! The hat by the way is from CreationbyAna off Etsy. She is locally here in Northwest Houston if you need some hats for your baby!
Martha and Herb – Montgomery, TX Wedding Elopement Photographer
Martha and Herb were wed a few weeks ago and were proudly the first couple to be married at Refreshing Harbor International Outreach, a new church in Montgomery, TX. They were supposed to be married in Hawaii when the Tsunami hit and canceled their wedding/honeymoon plans. Still wanting to be married right away, Martha and Herb to get married the next day…in Montgomery, TX. Overnight Martha booked a florist, bakery, and yes, a photographer.
Business Headshots – Houston, TX
Just a sneak peak of some of the business executive headshots we have done over the past couple of weeks here at MH Photography. Headshots are only $120 and include your favorite image on CD, facial retouching included. In today’s professional business world, having a good professional headshot can be one of the key’s to making a great first impression with a potential client or employer.
Who needs headshots? Well, many executives such as Realtors, Doctors, Attorneys, Engineers, Instructors, just to name a few. MH Photography has had the pleasure of photographing over 3,000 headshot clients since 2006 and counting! You can come to us or we can come to you. On location sessions are available in your office. Prices vary, quotes happily provided. We are happy to accommodate any number of employees you need photographed.
